One of the most exquisite shopping malls of Harare is the Eastgate Center. The building of the mall is an architectural feat, which has been designed to naturally ventilate the building. This remarkable piece of technology was the first of its kind in the world and has inspired designers and architects in Europe and America since its opening in 1996. This multi-storey building is filled with showrooms and luxury shops providing items and articles ranging from daily-use goods to electronics, clothing and medicines.

The Westgate Mall on the other hand, is a complete entertainment area. This luxury shopping mall is home to beautiful outlets with a wide variety of products. One of Harare’s best movie theatres is also situated in this mall. Westgate Mall offers fine shopping, entertainment, coffee lounges and popcorn stands. This is a relatively newer mall in the town and its environment is highly westernized.

Most of the shopping arcades in Harare offer excellent shopping facilities and entertainment. Everything from electronics to clothing to daily-use items to luxury goods is available in Harare.

The city’s cafes, bars, casinos and nightclubs are another reason why westerners love to visit Harare.

Klub Monako is a new establishment in the Harare nightlife. It attracts the elite youth of the city. $10 is the entrance fee, which may be distracting, but the club is usually full. Hip dressing in the club is very important to get along with others. Delectable wines and beers are available at reasonable prices in the bar of the club. A night in this bar could be one of the best nights ever!
