It seems you are well acquainted with voip phone service features. Can you tell me what is call forwarding feature?
Well this is one the most popular features of voip phone service. Suppose you have a voip phone in your office but you want all calls to be shifted /forwarded on your mobile or home phone when you are not in the office. This all call feature does for you.
Well as far as the residential solutions are concerned, they are very popular in USA and Canada. However, these solutions could not win that much popularity in developing countries like India and China. I think VoIP providers need to work in this regard.
It is true. VoIP's residential solutions are very popular in USA, Canada and Europe but in countries like China and India people consider VoIP a business calling solution. The good thing is that almost all the call centers in India are using VoIP service.
Now voip service providers have started to advertise their product as a home phone service also. People have started to use the VoIP as a home service. I am sure, in near future, VoIP will be popular as a hhome service in developing countries.
It will be popular as a home phone service also but how would you use this service in countries like Afghanistan and even in remote areas of India. In those countries you don't have internet and VoIP is totally dependant on internet.
I agree with Steve Jones you don't have proper internet speed in those countries, how would you use VoIP service there.
I don't agree with Marcus. It is not true that we don't have internet all around the globe. Internet with very good speed is available in Afghanistan. Many people are using VoIP also in Afghanistan. I don't know if there is any country on the globe, which does not have internet connection.
Yes internet is available in every country around the globe. However, the problem is that people are not properly educated about the VoIP service. As discussed earlier in third world countries, majority of the people don't know that this service can be used at home.
