I am planing to switch my office to voip phone service. Can dial up connection work with the internet phone?
Actually, the problem with voip phone service is that it works only with high speed internet. If you don't have good internet speed, voip phone would not work no matter what vendor you have selected. Now coming to your questions the answer is no. Voip does not work with dial up connection. You had better get a 1 mb connection if you want to use voip phone service.

Beware, i have used vonage. These voip vendors have different rates on their sites. You come to know about the hidden charges only when you are signed up. Only then you come to know they had a different shipment rate for Canada and client has to pay his tax regularly etc.
